As a grassroots membership organization, The Peace Project is led by volunteers who shape, lead, and carry out our work to shed light on atrocities. Serving in volunteer leadership positions is a great way to help protect human rights while gaining valuable skills and contacts.
We’re looking for a content creator who produces content for social media platforms advertising the organization and its idea. The interns will work part-time and in close cooperation with the content and social media team.
We’re looking for fundraising and grant interns who communicate and engage on a local level to increase income and create partnerships. The interns will work part-time and in close cooperation with the fundraising team. Interns will be:
Maintain strong working relationships with donors and partner organisations. Work on 3 grants within the course of the internship. Organize one fundraising event. Email updates to potential donors. Ability to research, identify and develop new fundraising opportunities. Prepare well-structured drafts using digital publishing platforms. Edit and proofread written pieces before publication. Conduct keyword research. Promote content on social networks and monitor engagement (e.g. comments and shares).
We are currently seeking a part-time volunteer to support outreach and engagement activities among influencers in the United States and globally. Volunteers would be nurturing relationships with collaborative partners. Create recruiting documents. Conduct outreach efforts to get information/resources. Assist with program creation and implementation. Conduct internet research. Support the administrative needs of the department.
In this internship, you will learn about hate, dehumanization, how it is spread to the point of violence, and ways that we can create initiatives to counter these atrocities!
